When we see the word tutorial we will think of tuition.
So today's topic is
"What is the purpose to go for a tuition class?"
1. Because you are forced by your parents?
2. To gain extra knowledge?
3. To maximize your leisure time?
4. To feed your teacher?
For me, I go for tuition because I need extra exercises to reinforce what I have learnt in school as I am not those clever type students.
This is my opinion as a student.
However, nowadays most of the students go for tuition because they are forced by their parents.
Parents are too busy to guide their children in their studies, so they think that by attending tuition class it will definitely help their children to get good grades in school.
Their hypothesis is
"the more tuition classes my child attends the better grade he or she gets."
Frankly speaking this is Malaysian style.
This mindset is so wrong.
What is the use of sending your children to tuition class when they do not have the will to learn?
When they have no motive to learn they will just build castle in the air all the time during the lesson.
In the end get nothing but waste your money.
As parents you should really find the reason why your children always fail in their examination instead of looking for better tuition teacher or sending your children to more tuition classes.
A penny saved is a penny earned.
Save the money and spend wisely, unless your children do really need a tutor.
It is okay to send your children for a tuition class but make sure they really learn.
You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.
When your children do not have the will to learn then no one can helps them.
God helps those who help themselves.
p/s This is based on what I have observed from the students that I have been teaching so far.
